artsy stay with great amenities
artsy atmosphere quality toiletries bath salt bar excellent breakfast
i appreciated the hotel's artsy atmosphere it felt unique. the amenities included with the room rate exceeded my expectations i found pajamas water and quality toiletries. i especially enjoyed the bath salt bar it allowed me to customize my relaxation experience. i also found the breakfast buffet excellent the grilled vegetables and soup options were a welcome change.
the location requires some walking to main attractions. although jujo station is relatively close kyoto station is a longer walk which may be inconvenient for some travelers.

the room provided sufficient space to open my luggage on the luggage rack i could still walk around freely. a working area had a sofa and table located next to the bed it was very useful. the bed was large and comfortable i slept very well thanks to the buckwheat husk pillow.

the hotel has washing facilities available it was convenient for longer stays. the hotel provides bath tubs and bath salts for guest use i found it very relaxing. aeon mall is within walking distance i visited it for shopping and dining.

the staff at reception were very friendly i felt welcomed and assisted promptly. the staff was very helpful with directions and information i found it very reassuring. they provided quick responses to requests i appreciated their efficiency.

the hotel is close to two subway stations i found it quite convenient for exploring. several bus stops are nearby the hotel i could easily access different areas. a lawson convenience store is across the street i found it very useful for quick needs.

Acceptable stay with cleanliness issues
poor cleanness dusty room
The staff was super nice and helpful, I felt welcomed .
I didn't like the overall cleanness. The room needed more attention. There was a lot of dust and it was obvious that it wasn't cleaned properly. I alerted the front desk, but even after they said they would clean it again, it was still not clean.

excessive dust tired hotel
the staff were mostly friendly, acceptable.
my room wasn't cleaned properly. there was a concerning amount of dust, and despite reporting this, the cleaning only improved a bit. the hotel seems tired, needing some updates.

Unique Art Hotel Experience!
art exhibition fresh towel bath salt bath bomb bar
I found the art exhibition by the lobby amazing. The hotel provided fresh towels and bottled water daily, even with a do not disturb sign. They have bath salt and soaking fragrances available. The hotel offers a build-your-own bath bomb bar. This was such a fun bonus!
The walk to the central station was a bit of a distance at about 1 km

The reception staff was very kind and provided helpful recommendations for local restaurants. They were all within a short walk! I purchased a daily pass for public transportation right at the reception desk. It was convenient.

Functional stay!
in-room washer in-room dryer comfortable beds superb shower
The room had a washer and dryer. This made laundry easy. Beds and pillows provided good comfort. The shower was also superb after a long day.
The temperature was difficult to control. I felt either too cold or too warm.

Breakfast included two sandwich options daily. These changed daily. The staff speaks English. This was helpful.

The room included many hangers. I could hang up all my bags. A desk was also in the room. This was a plus. The room size suited me well.
