nice pool acceptable gym expensive food inflated prices

the pool was really nice and the gym was acceptable.

the food i had here really was way too expensive and not really worth it, specially because i'm vietnam and food isn't supposed to cost this much. it feels the prices are like london prices and i pay four times the money compared to other places i went to in vietnam.

quiet riverside escape

free speed boat convenient city access beautiful room fantastic spa

The hotel offers a free speed boat to district 1. the boat trips made getting to the city very convenient. my room included many amenities i needed. A29 was beautiful and well-stocked. the location is perfect outside of the center of saigon. It is easy to take day trips. i had two 90 minute massage sessions. The spa is fantastic.

the pool is beautifully presented amongst tropical plants, but the pool temperature was colder than expected. even with 30 degree days, the pool felt cold.

The hotel has two restaurants. i had breakfast every day. It was wonderful! a vietnamese cooking class is available with the head chef, bao. That is a real treat. the food was sensational.

the well-equipped gym was appreciated. a herb garden is available for wandering. the architecture of the tree houses looks unbelievable. the rooms were huge and included a lovely balcony. beds felt super comfortable.

All staff are five star. the staff seemed professional and well trained. they all say hi and are accommodating. linh, our butler, was so kind, patient. Nothing was too much. nhu anticipated every need before we asked.

the retreat is nestled on the river. the road to the hotel is undeveloped, so the travel feels like an experience. this place is a beautiful calm jungle retreat outside the urban intensity. it is well positioned for cu chi tunnels visits.

Really good Service and Beautiful Setting

friendly staff accommodating staff relaxing boat calm atmosphere

The staff was friendly and accommodating. They arranged a room for us to use while waiting for a late flight. This allowed us to get some work done. The place is heaven. A Lam Retreat is a slice of heaven just outside the city. The boat ride itself is relaxing.

The food and drinks are overpriced compared to other places in Vietnam. The prices felt more like London prices. It's getting a little tired and doesn't feel like much has been done since it was built.

Rooms were beautiful and a lovely size. The hotel considered my disability and put us in a room on the ground level. This was very close to the restaurant, and it was appreciated.

The restaurant menu has many options. Options were plentiful and changed every day. The hotel grows all its own vegetables in an organic garden. This contributes to the quality and freshness of the food.

The staff were really good throughout our stay. My butler was attentive. She kept me informed about activities. She was always available when needed. They waved and then uniformly bowed as the boat pulled away from the jetty.
