The rooms were large, modern, and clean. i had a huge bathroom, it included a large shower. the balcony was spacious. It featured a couch and glass parapet. it helped me fully enjoy the really good view.

the minibar selection was not great. i found only chilean white wine. it reminded me of a weird choice for a five-star resort. i expected much higher-quality options in that category.

Breakfast service had extensive and delicious choices. There was a station with fresh juice presses based on demand. there were many asian dishes with a western focus, though a lot of choice remained. that tasted acceptable.

The beach is very nice. It's almost exclusive for hotel guests. the hotel sits near a wild sea section, ideal for enjoying. You can walk two minutes to a more swimmable beach. it is also quite close to a nature preserve

the beach was there, i guess. it wasn't actively trying to ruin my vacation, so that's something.

so, the 'premier ocean view room' i booked? more like 'partial tree obstruction with a sliver of ocean if you crane your neck' room. and the shower? it dribbled. seriously, a leaky faucet had more oomph. trying to rinse shampoo out seemed like waiting for rain in the desert.

i had some initial difficulty connecting to the wifi, but staff addressed that issue quickly.
