Al Lago has a location suitable for hiking, canoeing, cycling, and fishing. The 'Sierra de Grazalema' nature reserve offers hiking, painting, wildflowers, horse trails, bike paths, and birdwatching. Horseback trails are available for 2-4 hours daily along the lake or into the mountains. Guided walks and permissions can be booked to trek along the El Majacete river, through the Pinsapar woods, or into the Guarganta verde. Guests can visit woollen mills in Grazalema, leather fabricas in Ubrique, or the castle in Olvera, a short drive from Zahara.
