Activities and Features
Hotel Alegria has a rooftop sun deck and jacuzzi. Guests can relax in lounge chairs on the sun deck and soak in the Jacuzzi. Private events and yoga classes are hosted. Cabarete is a favored location for international kitesurfing competitions. Experienced kite surfers can launch from the beach in front of the hotel. The closest windsurfing center, ION Club at Carib Wind Plaza, is 300 meters down the beach. The world famous Encuentro surfing beach is 5 kilometers west.
Location and Access
Hotel Alegria is located on the east side of Cabarete Beach, less than a block away from Janet's Supermarket. It is 25 km from Gregorio Luperon International Airport. Directions from Puerto Plata/Sosua: Highway 5 through Cabarete center, left on Janet's Supermarket, immediate left again, 1/2 block west. The neighborhood is a diverse mix of small and large hotels, restaurants, and other businesses.

The reception is open 24 hours. Check out is at 12:00 PM. The hotel provides reliable Internet connection with good Wi-Fi signal coverage throughout the hotel. Parking for hotel guests is available in front of the Hotel entrance. Laundry services are available at the Laundromat across from Janet's supermarket.
