"Peggy is a gem in her industry the entire staff was fabulous so was our couples romantic stay room was great hot tub and fireplace digital cable four poster bed patio off side bathroom was great too altogether I could not rave enough three restaurants onsite fabulous food a coffee shop champagne packages and cruises starting in April two bars in town if you want pub food holiday gas station nice little general store ? a mile from inn beaches and state parks to hike in or Afton alps to ski at Little for everyone would recommend for those looking to turn up the heat we will be customers for life now for sure"

The Afton House Inn features 25 guest rooms with corporate rates available Sunday through Thursday. Rooms offer a sitting area with a flat-screen TV. Room options include: rooms with a fireplace and 2-person spa bath, rooms with free Wi-Fi and cable TV. Some rooms include a balcony, fireplace, and hot tub. Some rooms on the river side, feature a marina/river view, Jacuzzi, and balcony. The Executive Suite includes a King Bed, Trundle Bed, mini-refrigerator, fireplace, and Jacuzzi. One suite has a walkout patio, queen bed, free WiFi, flatscreen TV, Jacuzzi/electric fireplace, and shower.

Dining Experience

Current Restaurant serves American fare for lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch. The restaurant's menu includes: Lump Blue Crab Cakes with cream cheese, corn, bell peppers, and blackberry sauce; Truffle Sprouts with truffle oil, truffle salt, grana Padano, fine herbs, and gouda cheese fondue; Goldie's Walleye almond crusted with market vegetables, lemon jasmine rice and browned butter sauce; certified 14 oz Ribeye steak served with house mash potatoes, market vegetable, and sauteed mushrooms in demi glaze sauce. There is also Swirl Wine Bar with 6 or more wines by the glass that change weekly and a menu that changes seasonally offering small plates, entrees, dessert and truffles. Afton House Inn offers superb in-house catering service with an outstanding choice of menus. Chef can tantalize your taste buds, while enjoying wine.

Leisure and Entertainment

The Afton House Inn offers multiple leisure activities. Guests can attend wine dinners, comedy events, and dance lessons. St Croix River Cruises depart, offering views of the bluffs of Minnesota & Wisconsin. Private Charter Cruises are available April - October, cruising the St Croix River towards Stillwater, MN, or down to Prescott, WI. Daily Public Cruises include Brunch, Lunch & Dinner, available April-October. Enjoy the Fireworks on the St Croix River with St Croix River Cruises.
