This detail mattered. Breakfast moved downstairs, but it still offered a good variety. Staying here for the third year shows I am pleased. I plan to return in July 2025.

The bed's hardness impacted my sleep quality. The room became too hot, but there was no air conditioning available. Opening the window introduced too much external street noise at night which I found disruptive.

dark room delight!

really good darknesscute receptionistriver walk picture

I loved the really good darkness in my room. After extensive travel, this room provided the best darkness i have ever experienced! the receptionist was super cute. i had arrived one hour before check-in, and they quickly allocated me a room after a long walk. i also really liked the river walk picture as a headboard and the library books for the wall.

The air conditioning lacked remote control. I had to get out of bed to adjust settings like on and off or fan speed. i could only adjust the speed, not the temperature.

The staff exhibited kindness and care consistently. Everyone i encountered was lovely and helpful , ensuring i felt supported and well-taken care of with all my needs and questions.

The hotel provided a cozy, clean environment. It felt very homely. the presence of a wonderful park nearby offered excellent opportunities for people-watching, and the proximity to many superb pintxos bars was a bonus for enjoying local cuisine.

The hotel enjoys a superb location. It's close to everything i needed. walking to the guggenheim was easy, and the train station was conveniently accessible the following morning, simplifying my travel plans and explorations of the area.

adequate stay, some disappointments

poor soundproofingnoisy air conditioning

however, i encountered a couple of issues that detracted from the experience. the soundproofing was quite poor. I could clearly hear noise from the corridor and other rooms. also, the air conditioning was barely adjustable and became noisy, which wasn't ideal.
