the hotel's location was acceptable with easy access to downtown.
Valet service was missing upon arrival. No one greeted the car. a restaurant reservation i requested in advance was never made by the staff. i paid over $400 a night and the service felt inadequate compared to other hotels in the city.

the location proved convenient with short walks to the train station, restaurants, and the bell centre. siam, the on-site restaurant, provided a fabulous dinner. i also appreciated the doorman's recommendation of kettleman's bagels for breakfast. the rooftop outdoor sauna added a unique touch to the stay.
