I appreciated the really kind staff. They were AAA+++. The restaurant and lounge area was great. The restaurant boasts a lovely atmosphere and really good views.
Only half the windows could be opened. It was problematic because no air conditioning existed.

Lovely stay among birdsongs.

This place was lovely for a stay. I did book a premium room and it was newer. I don't know how the other rooms are. I did have a lovely deck. The room was roomy. The bathroom was upscale. The view off the deck and the birdsongs were amazing.
The driveway was scary. It got my anxiety to its top level. The system needs a sensor for cars and a stop go light. I was surprised no one has had a serious accident. Signage around the place needs updates too.

The hotel is near Piha beach. Numerous trekking options are available close by. Auckland city can be seen from here. The surrounding area is very quiet.

The front desk staff are amazing. The staff helped wherever it was needed. I found them very kind. Restaurant staff were also excellent.

a HIDDEN gem among the trees

i really loved our premier room. It included a balcony and a great forest view. The city IS also visible. We relaxed fully during the week. i enjoyed the ridge walk. its views were very nice.
i was VERY disappointed. The cleaning was insufficient. I noticed people's hair everywhere on the floor of the apartment. i did see dead bugs and dirt crumbs.

the reception staff member was friendly. Jibin was helpful. his other staff members were cute. All staff members seemed professional and cared about our comfort .

we ate evening meals there for three nights. we had three breakfasts too. Everything tasted first rate. the steak Was particularly beautiful. the food presentation was wonderful and the chef and staff gave quality service.

The ridge walk was steep, however the views were worth it. jibin and other staff were friendly. They were also helpful. i had evening meals for three nights and breakfasts for three mornings. All were first rate.
