Select rooms feature partial Pacific Ocean views, city views, mountain views, or views of Waikiki's neighborhood city lights. Suites on the top floors offer city or mountain views from two private balconies, a spacious living room, a wet bar with a small refrigerator, a microwave, dishware, and a coffeemaker. A 42-inch flat-screen TV is in the living room, while the bedroom has a 32-inch flat-screen TV. Wi-Fi access is available; it is complimentary in the hotel's lobby, while in-room Wi-Fi access is included in the hotel's Amenity Charge. Connecting rooms are available based on availability. The hotel is a completely non-smoking property; a designated smoking area is located outdoors, adjacent to the side entrance.

The Ilima Restaurant serves an American-style menu, featuring a breakfast buffet, sandwiches, ramen, and local specialties for lunch. A daily signature breakfast at Ilima Cafe for two is included in the Amenities Charge, offering Buttermilk Pancakes, Loco Moco, French Toast, Bacon & Eggs, and more. For guests in upgraded suites, an upgraded signature breakfast at Ilima Cafe is included for two adults. The Ilima Cafe serves à la carte breakfast from 6:00 am to 10:30 am daily. Surf Bar Waikiki offers cocktails and live music.
Leisure and Entertainment
Guests can enjoy complimentary cultural and wellness activities. An in-room DVD player is available, with unlimited DVD movies from a DVDNow kiosk in the lobby. Guests have access to wellness activities and Hawaiian cultural activities. The hotel is located in Waikiki, known for its popular surf beach. Snorkeling, scuba diving, dolphin and whale watching tours, and parasailing are available. There are two famous Waikiki surfing sites, Queen's and Canoes, located at the west end of Kuhio Beach Park. A water station is in the lobby and on the 2nd floor.
Location and Transportation
Waikiki Resort Hotel is located in Waikiki, a 1-minute walk from Waikiki Beach and luxury shopping on Kalakaua Avenue. It is an eight-minute walk from the International Market Place. The hotel is near the Zoo, Aquarium, Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, the Duke Kahanamoku Statue, Kuhio Street, and Kalakaua Avenue. The hotel does not offer transportation to and from Honolulu International Airport. Taxis and shuttle buses to Waikiki are available at the airport. TheBus public bus services run from Waikiki to the village of Ahuimanu.
Services Overview
The front desk operates 24 hours a day. Self-parking is based on availability, with parking lots off of Koa Avenue. An opt-out button is available to choose not to participate in Hotel lists and future online marketing. Beach towels are available for complimentary use. Filtered water dispensers are located in the lobby and by the pool deck. Guests can opt out of daily housekeeping service. The Amenity Charge includes daily in-room coffee and tea.
