I liked the pool. It had amazing views from over the river valley. Staff members were wonderful. They helped us arrange a car and gave us advice on what to do.

Dogs in the neighborhood woke me. They barked a good part of the night. It was very disturbing. The mattress on the bed was very hard.

We were upgraded to a better room upon arrival. it had plenty of space for our suitcases. the bed included a mosquito net. the staff were attentive and helpful when arranging trips to sigiriya and the botanical gardens. the food was so great. Breakfast offered both sri lankan and western options, and dinner was fabulous in a picturesque setting.

finding the hotel in the dark was difficult, requiring several phone calls for directions.
