great stay near lisbon
beautiful garden gold mosaics salt water pool calm staff
the hotel had a beautiful garden with GOLD mosaics. the salt water pool was clean with enough beds and shadow for everyone. the room was spacious and the historic palace looked amazing. the staff was calm and helpful at all times, THAT was very appreciated.
i found the carpet slightly grubby in places. the lighting could be improved in certain areas. the placement of the lifts was a little odd.

the outdoor swimming pool had ample sun loungers and shaded areas for relaxation. a modern gym with three treadmills and two stationary bikes was available. the spa includes a sauna and turkish bath , both well-kept.

clean pool helpful staff saltwater pool late room forgotten towels no coffee machine
The pool was beautiful and clean. the staff was very helpful. the gardens were well maintained. They featured gold mosaics and a saltwater pool with a shower.
the room was rarely made up until well after lunch. one day, they seemed to forget to leave any towels. the hotel said it would provide a coffee machine on request but nothing transpired.
