Vergeiner's Hotel Traube features rooms for holidays and business trips. Double Rooms Romantik (30m²) have antique furnishings. Double Rooms Traube (25-30m²) offer a sofa bed, desk, shower, hairdryer, flat-screen satellite TV, minibar, and safe. Superior Double Rooms include a flat-screen TV and wooden floors. Two studios on the second floor are ideal for allergy sufferers and feature parquet floors, solid wood furniture, a daybed, armchair, double washbasin, and flat-screen TV. All rooms provide complimentary W-Lan, sat-tv, radio, telephone, minibar, safe, body care products, and bathrobes. Extra beds are not available in some room types.
Dining at Traube
The hotel offers a breakfast room with a terrace. A breakfast buffet includes a juice bar, an organic corner, and fresh bread from bakery Joast. Coffee specialties such as espresso, cappuccino, and latte macchiato come from the Triest-based roasting house Caffè Hausbrandt. Restaurant La Taverna serves Italian dishes and traditional specialties from Eastern Tyrol, along with salads. It has an open kitchen and offers wine consultations. A wine selection of over 50 fine wines of Austrian and international origin is available. The historic lobby bar on the ground floor features a painted wooden ceiling and traditional furnishings.
Leisure and Wellness
The panoramic spa on the 6th floor offers a 360° view of Lienz and the Dolomites. Facilities include a sauna, tanning booth (token included in some packages), steam bath, infrared cabin, and fitness room. A swimming pool is also available. Massages include classic partial-body massage and aroma massage, available for 70 euros (70 minutes) and 50 euros (40 minutes).
Location & Access
Vergeiner's Hotel Traube is in the historical district of Lienz, at the foot of the Lienz Dolomites. It's near mountain roads such as Grossglockner and Pustertal High Alpine Road. The hotel is accessible from Munich via A8/A93 to Kiefersfelden/Kufstein or from Vienna/Graz via A2 until Spittal-Millstättersee/exit Lienz. The hotel is near the Italian border and the airports of Innsbruck, Salzburg, and Klagenfurt. Parking places are available in front of the hotel. The hotel offers two charging stations in the underground parking, costing € 0.50 per kW, with underground parking available for € 14.00 per night.
