The staff WAS always helpful. The room, a standard double, was clean on arrival. I liked that the location was close to a bus stop.
The room lacked a fridge. The sports bar was loud late at night.

The room lacked some essential things. I really missed having a fridge. It was inconvenient needing to request milk each time. the breakfast was VERY average after the first day. i found the hollandaise sauce split, that is not what I expect from a hotel.

The breakfast included many options. I appreciated biscuits in the room and a variety of teas. The bar area was cozy. It provided delicious cocktails and board games. Daily free access to the spa was a massive addition. The bed in the junior suite was very comfortable.

The hotel was situated ideally for trips. I used the railway and local buses. The bus stop was virtually outside the hotel. It allowed easy access to nearby attractions.

Mixed feelings about my stay
noise isolationpacked parking
I found the bar area quite NOISY. Guests there continued to gather late. It bothered us because the bar is directly below guest rooms and the noise isolation is just not good enough. the parking situation was frustrating. The main parking area was always packed. Luggage handling became difficult because of this.
