The Tabard Inn, encompassing three Victorian townhouses, features over 30 boutique guest rooms. Each room includes vintage furniture, artwork, and a private bathroom. Rooms do not have televisions; toiletries are available at the front desk. A refrigerator is available behind the front desk for storing items. Room assignments are finalized the night before arrival. Options include Traditional Rooms with a King or Queen bed, Petite Rooms with one Full Bed (desk available in select rooms), Signature Room Suites with two Double Beds, Budget Single Rooms with a shared bathroom, and Penthouse Suites with a King, a Double bed, seating area, and desk. Rollaway beds are available upon request. Select rooms feature original fireplaces and clawfoot tubs.
Dining at Tabard Inn
The Tabard Inn restaurant offers American cuisine, drinks, and a warm setting with comfortable seating and HDTVs. The daily menu is based on seasonal, local ingredients. The dining rooms feature pieces from an art collection. Live jazz is performed on Sundays and Mondays from 6:00-8:30 pm in the lounge. The Bar is available for cocktails. The Patio provides an enclosed garden setting.
Leisure and Socializing
Guests can enjoy the terrace, fireplace in the lobby, garden, and bar. The lounge provides a space to relax and enjoy beverages and meals. Private event rooms are available for parties and gatherings, accommodating up to 70 guests seated for dinner or 100 guests for a standing reception. Original decorative wood and marble fireplaces and oak floors add to the setting.

The Tabard Inn is on a quiet street in Dupont Circle, located mid-block between 18th and 17th Streets in Embassy Row. It is near the White House, National Mall, Smithsonians, and Embassy Row. Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is the nearest airport. From the Metro Station, exit south, walk one block along 19th Street, then one block to N Street.
