Really good Mountain Stay

very nice excursions

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was very helpful and accommodating to every need. I appreciated the easy access to very nice excursions and found the views were really good.

the room had a keurig, which i liked. it was refreshed daily. i also enjoyed hiking to the trails directly from the hotel. we received a free upgrade to a nicer room (i am grateful for that).

the front desk staff gave us incorrect rental information. this was unhelpful, because there was a miscommunication. we requested robes two days in a row and nothing arrived until we asked again on the third day. the service from the hotel staff was not the best.

The hotel sits at 7000' altitude. The gondola ride up was great. I stayed for three summer nights which allowed hiking opportunities around the base. I dined at the pub. The staff were happy.

The hotel used air fresheners to cover a smell in the rooms, this odor was noticeable.

The food quality needs improvement I thought. Chicken fingers tasted undercooked and lacked flavor. Trapper's seemed understaffed. Ordering food and drinks at the bar was necessary. I would come back for the skiing however I would limit my stay to one night due to food options
