StrandGut Resort offers double rooms and suites. Double rooms feature views of the town, a side beach view, or a direct sea view. Suites also offer land, beach, or sea views. Rooms feature flat-screen TVs and iPod docks. Bathrooms are modern. A 23 sqm land view room has a small balcony with seating. Beach view rooms (23 to 25 sqm) have a side view of the sea, the foreshore, and St Peter-Ording's promenade. Some double rooms connect, which provides enough space for families with children.
Onsite Dining
The resort's Deichkind restaurant offers snacks and varied cuisine. It includes a terrace with a sea view. A breakfast buffet is available for €28.90 per person; for younger guests (ages 7 to 15), breakfast costs €14.00. Breakfast is free for guests ages 0 to 6. The restaurant serves first-class meat and fish, plus meals for vegetarians and vegans. The kitchen staff serves food from breakfast to late-night drinks.
Leisure and Wellness
StrandGut Resort provides direct access to the Dünen-Therme spa. The spa measures 6,500 sqm, with wellness, swimming pools, and a sauna area. The Dünen-Therme has barrier-free changing rooms, sanitary facilities, shower wheelchairs, and a mobile pool lift in the leisure and adventure pool. Guests can take regular yoga courses with in-house yoga instructor Claudia.
Location and Transport
StrandGut Resort is located directly on the promenade of St Peter-Ording, just behind the dunes. The hotel can be reached by taking a Deutsche Bahn train to Husum Intercity station. From there, take the direct line to St Peter-Ording. The hotel is a short walk from the train station. Parking spaces are available for €9 per day; additional parking spaces are available free of charge approximately 400 m away.
Services Offered
StrandGut Resort offers free bathrobe hire from reception. Room cleaning occurs every two days. Surfing lessons can be booked at the XH2O water sports center. Charging points for electric cars are available. The hotel and restaurant are accessible for wheelchair users via a footbridge. All hotel rooms are wheelchair-accessible and have level-access showers. Extra beds cost €15 per day; cots cost €5 per day.
