Dining Experience
The Stewart House features an Art Deco bar and dining room with hand-painted murals and tin ceilings. The ever-evolving menu includes farm-sourced dishes. The bar features locally distilled spirits, craft beer, and wine. The River Grill provides waterfront dining on the Hudson River, featuring cocktails, local craft beer, and wood-fired grill specials. Chips n dip, burrata, single-flip burgers, ribs, tacos, shrimp rolls, and salads are on the menu. The Tavern provides live music and weekly specials, such as Thursday burger and beer specials, 'Fish Frydays,' and 'Sunday Roasts.' Chef Rachel Bartlett brings seasonal, locally produced foods to the classic menu.

The Stewart House is located in Athens, near architecture from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. River views include watercraft, from tankers to jet skis. The Hudson River Skywalk and Thomas Cole National Historic Site are nearby. Cohotate Preserve provides river access and possible sightings of bald eagles and great blue herons. The cross-river ferry offers service between Hudson and Athens on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
