Facilities include an indoor swimming pool, a heated outdoor infinity pool (mid-March to November), a Finnish sauna, a bio sauna, an infrared sauna, and a steam bath. There is also an ice fountain and a relaxation room with waterbeds. A fitness center offers modern cardio machines, and a yoga room hosts yoga classes. The chapel contains the oldest Tyrolean glass painting and a wood-carved crucifixion group.

Hotel Sonnbichl is located in the village of Tyrol, above Merano, surrounded by vineyards and orchards. It is 40 km from Bolzano. The hotel is near the Merano Thermal Baths, the Kurhaus, and the St Nicholas parish church. Cologne/Bonn to Verona Airport, from where the transfer to the Hotel Sonnbichl is included. A free MeranCard is provided during the stay. Charging stations for electric cars are available for a fee.
