Traditional Japanese ryokan on Lake Kawaguchi with Mount Fuji views
Rooms
All rooms at Shuhokaku Kogetsu have tatami flooring and Japanese futon bedding, with views of Lake Kawaguchi and Mount Fuji. Each air-conditioned room includes an en suite bathroom, an LCD TV, and central and window-side seating areas. Guests sleep in traditional Japanese style on futon bedding placed on tatami floors, with some rooms offering an open-air hot spring bath or foot bath.
Dining
Dinner consists of multiple courses of local specialties made from fresh seasonal ingredients, served as a Kaiseki meal in the guest room or in a private dining room. A Japanese and Western breakfast buffet is served at the Terum dining hall, with tempura cooked to order. Free drinks, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, are available at the lobby from 14:30 to 18:30.
Wellness
The hotel offers outdoor hot-spring baths with lake views, an indoor onsen, and a sauna for relaxation. Massage services are available, and guests can also rent a private bath for 3,000 JPY. A foot bath in the garden provides a spot to soak while viewing the lake and Mount Fuji.
