Windsong Lodge provides Alaska-inspired lodging near Exit Glacier. Standard rooms accommodate four guests, with Alaska-style log furniture and two queen beds. Premium deck rooms feature two queen beds and a private outdoor sitting area. Suites, suitable for families of five, include two queen beds and an extra-long twin trundle bed separated by a half-wall. Each room and suite has a private ensuite, hair dryer, coffee maker, refrigerator, flat-screen television, telephone, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Bath and body products from Alaska Dream Botanicals are included. Accessible rooms offer one or two beds, a private accessible bath, wireless internet, television and phones.
Dining Options
Resurrection Roadhouse, the signature gourmet restaurant, specializes in regional cuisine and fresh Alaskan seafood; it serves breakfast and dinner daily. Mt Hunter Coffee Co. in the main lobby offers hot drinks and grab-and-go items. Goliath Bar & Grill features 16 Alaskan beers on tap, along with share plates, pizza, and handheld fare. The dinner menu includes king crab, Alaskan halibut, flat iron steak, and blackened chicken alfredo.
Leisure and Entertainment
Windsong Lodge is near Kenai Fjords National Park, offering access to wildlife and glacier cruises with Kenai Fjords Tours. Guests can explore Resurrection Bay via a boat cruise and guided paddle tour to Fox Island. Activities include kayaking, hiking, and wildlife viewing. The lodge provides passes to a fitness center in downtown Seward. Guests can also use hiking poles, binoculars, board games, and DVD players upon request.
Location and Transportation
Located just outside the city of Seward, Windsong Lodge is near the Exit Glacier Valley, the port of Seward and Kenai Fjords National Park. The lodge offers a free shuttle to the Seward train depot, Seward Small Boat Harbor, and downtown Seward. Driving from Anchorage is 126 miles along Turnagain Arm and Seward Highway, located at mile 0.5 Exit Glacier Road, two miles north of the Seward Small Boat Harbor.
Hotel Services
Seward Windsong Lodge provides a guest shuttle to downtown Seward, the cruise ship terminal, and the train station. The lodge features a business center, laundry facilities, a gift shop, and a 24-hour front desk. Guests have access to on-site parking, an ATM in the lobby, luggage storage, and vending machines.
