Beautiful Accommodations

Hotel Serpiano provides guest accommodations with views of the Monte San Giorgio UNESCO World Heritage Site and Lake Lugano. Rooms feature complimentary wireless internet, mini-bars, and LCD TVs. Options include Lake View Rooms renovated in 2022, equipped with 160 cm double beds, desks, bathrooms with showers, and kettles. Superior Rooms have views of the Monte San Giorgio nature reserve and can accommodate a third bed or cot. Family Suites consist of two connecting rooms renovated in 2021, featuring two double beds and two single beds, and one bathroom. Some rooms have balconies; Superior rooms on the ground floor include a garden.

Dining Options

The hotel restaurant serves dishes of local and Italian cuisine, made with fresh, seasonal ingredients and attentive to food intolerances. Guests can combine their uphill and downhill cable car ticket with a stop at the restaurant to enjoy a lake-view lunch. The renowned terrace is open during the summer months for candlelight dinners or aperitifs overlooking the lake.

The Pumptrack is located in the area of the Study Center, next to the middle school. It is possible to rent the Hand-Bike directly at the Hotel Serpiano.
