Sequoia Suites
Sequoia Lodge (Adults Only) is located 25 km from Adelaide. It features 14 suites with valley views from the sunken lounge, bedroom, and bathroom. Each suite includes a balcony with a daybed, a gas fireplace, a ceiling fan, a hidden TV, and a bathtub. The bathroom offers a wellness shower. The suites feature automated settings, underfloor heating, and air-conditioning. Amenities include Jurlique products, Nick Mount glass, Jam Factory ceramics, ES Ceramics tea and coffee cups, and Hahndorf Soap Factory bath salts.
Dining at Sequoia
Sequoia Lodge provides options for lodge guests, featuring menus that change with the seasons and use local ingredients. Head chef Jin Choi creates dishes with fresh produce. Guests can have breakfast in the lodge lounge or in their suite. Dining is exclusive to lodge guests. Martha Hardy's Restaurant, located in Mount Lofty House, serves local produce. The lodge also prepares bread, brioche buns, English muffins, and lavash.
Leisure and Wellness
Sequoia Lodge has a nature setting that adjoins the Adelaide Hills Botanic Gardens and Cleland National Park. Guests can use the lodge's lounge, which includes fireplaces, sunken lounges, valley views, and a sun deck. There are artesian spring-fed hot pools and an infinity pool. The Gatekeeper's Day Spa provides spa treatments and overlooks the Adelaide Hills. The Mount Lofty Estate has two vineyards and underground springs. Activities include nature walks, tours of the Mount Lofty Botanic Gardens, and private access to Cleland Wildlife Park. Guests can drive supercars (Ferrari, Lamborghini, and McLaren) through the Adelaide Hills.
Location and Access
Sequoia Lodge is located atop Adelaide's Mount Lofty, next to Cleland National Park and the Adelaide Hills Botanical Gardens. It is a 20-minute drive from Adelaide's central business district. Nearby landmarks include Cleland Wildlife Park (0.3 km), Measday's Lookout (1.5 km), and Mount Lofty Botanic Garden (2 km).
Signature Inclusions
Sequoia provides a welcome to introduce the lodge's history. There are guided nature hikes and access to spring-fed hot pools. Guests can attend a South Australian Cheese & Wine Discovery Masterclass. There are beverage experiences and opportunities to meet artisan winemakers. Included are daily breakfast, a minibar, and nightly turndown service. Other activities: bee experience, picnics, star gazing, and drives in supercars.
