Dining at Seelaus
The Hotel's Restaurant features Chef Roberto Loi, who prepares homemade bread and pasta. The breakfast buffet includes different types of bread, meat, cheese, jams, honey, yoghurt, muesli, cereals, juices, fruit, fresh egg dishes, and dietary products. A cake buffet is available during the winter season. Dinner includes a 5-course menu with a starter and salad buffet. Special events include aperitifs with finger food, cheese buffets in summer, "Törggelen" evenings in autumn, and gala menus during holidays. The chimney room with a bar serves espresso, cappuccino, and local schnapps. A gourmet breakfast features regional produce, juices, fresh fruit, and egg dishes á la carte.
Leisure and Wellness
Hotel Seelaus features an indoor pool with Jacuzzi, countercurrent swimming, geyser, and alpine waterfall. There is also a South Tyrolean wooden sauna, a steam bath with starry sky and light therapy, a water paradise with emotional shower, fog shower, and cold water bucket. Guests can use the Kneipp basin and relaxation room with views of the alpine garden. Spa treatments, massages, facials, and body treatments are available. Children can use the hotel's playground in the furnished garden, which includes a trampoline.
Location & Access
Hotel Seelaus is on the Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm, at 1800 meters of altitude. It is 40 km from Bolzano. From Munich and Innsbruck, take the Brenner Motorway A22 to Klausen, then Waidbruck. From Verona, take the Brenner Motorway A22 to Bozen North. Bus service is available from the train stations in Bozen or Brixen to Seis. The hotel is near trails including the Hans and Paula Steger Trail and others leading to Mount Bullaccia. In winter, guests can access slopes and cross-country tracks directly from the hotel. E-charging stations for hotel guests are available.
