RV, Tent, and Cabins
The resort provides 30'-70' long RV sites with easy pull-through spaces and full hookups with 20/30/50 AMP service. Tent sites are located in a private, wooded area and include Wi-Fi, fire pits, and access to clean public bathrooms and showers. A large teepee camping site is also available, guests must bring a cot and sleeping bag. Cabins accommodate 8 guests, featuring 3 queen beds and a sofa pullout, a fully stocked kitchen with cookware, silverware, oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and dishwasher, a fireplace, a private patio with a hot tub, a deck with a BBQ grill and an 8-person table, and a free washer and dryer. Three cabins can be adjoined for larger groups.
Bunkhouse and Dining
The bunkhouse at Sawtelle Mountain Resort accommodates 40 people with 20 queen beds, a full kitchen, access to a projector, and 2 full bathrooms with 4 separate showers. Robin's Roost restaurant is located 0.5 km from the property.
Leisure and Amenities
Sawtelle Mountain Resort features a swimming pool and a hot tub. Guests have access to coin-operated laundry services, 4 horseshoe pits, a volleyball court, a pavilion with picnic tables available for rent, a pickleball court, and an arcade/game room. Keep your eyes peeled for opportunities to spot elk, moose, deer, bald eagles, and even bears. Guests can rent a RZR from High Mountain Adventures, next to Sawtelle Mountain Resort. During summer months guests can also rent a raft, paddle board, kayak, or float tube. The resort is near Yellowstone National Park, Harriman State Park (16,000-acre wildlife refuge), Mt. Jefferson, Sawtelle Peak, Two Top, Madison River, Snake River, and Henry's Lake. Additional attractions include Mesa Falls (Upper and Lower Mesa Falls), Big Springs, and Johnny Sack Cabin (0.5 km away).

Island Park is ideal for outdoor recreation, such as ATV or RZR riding, snowmobiling, fishing, and floating the river on a canoe or paddle board. Activities include cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and wildlife viewing. Snowmobile rentals are available during winter, and snowshoe trails can be found in Harriman State Park.
