Sakura Hotel Hatagaya is frequently praised for its convenient location, a short walk from Hatagaya station and just two stops from Shinjuku, with a convenience store nearby. Many appreciate having an electric stove, microwave, and refrigerator available in the room. While some guests have noted that rooms can be on the smaller side, especially when accommodating luggage, the hotel's 24/7 cafe and its simple breakfast with toast and coffee/tea are generally seen as advantages.

The staff was very friendly and eager to help when I needed something.
My room was quite dated and tiny. It had mold on the shower curtain. The bathroom and laundry also smelled of sewage, unpleasant.
