Bela Vista Hotel & Spa offers 38 rooms and suites. Accommodations include seven rooms in the Blue House facing Praia da Rocha and 20 rooms with a terrace or garden in the Garden House. A separate house on the grounds, the Blue House, provides seven additional suites with blue decor and shower-only bathrooms. All guestrooms include 24-hour room service, air conditioning, complimentary WiFi, and safes. Bathrooms in the main building feature both tubs and showers and amenities. Some rooms offer sea, city, or garden views. Located in the Casa Azul, some rooms offer views of the sea; rooms in the Casa Jardim have balconies and partial sea views. Suites in the Palacete or Casa Azul offer sea views and may include a balcony. The upper-floor suites in the Palacete offer sea views, subject to availability. Rooms in Casa Azul and Casa Jardim have air conditioning and face the hotel garden or Praia da Rocha. Rooms in the main Palace feature sea views and Portuguese tiles and colors.
Dining Options
The hotel features Vista Restaurante, a beachfront restaurant with a bar and alfresco dining. The menu consists of Algarvean and Portuguese dishes, along with a wine list. Both the restaurant and bar serve high-quality food and cocktails. Breakfasts are buffet style with fresh fruits, local hams, and cheeses. Al fresco dining is possible on the restaurant's terrace, facing the sunset.
Leisure and Wellness
The L'Occitane Spa, designed by Graça Viterbo, features turquoise tones and offers five treatment rooms, a small pool with jets, a hammam, and a sauna. Treatments include a mint and rosemary relaxing massage and a detoxifying almond wrap, using natural ingredients and scents of the region. Guests can access a bright relaxation room with a pool, small sauna, hammam, and a small gym with cardio machines. The hotel also provides a magnificent outdoor swimming pool surrounded by daybeds and private access to the beach.
Location and Access
Bela Vista Hotel & Spa is located on the cliffs of Praia da Rocha, between Alvor and Portimão. Its hilltop location off a pedestrian street in Praia de Rocha provides walkable access to restaurants, bars, golfing, and shops. Direct beach access is available via stairs. Faro International Airport is one hour away. Day trips to Sagres (one hour) and Lisbon (two-and-a-half hours) are possible by car. Nearby landmarks include Igreja de Ferragudo (1.5 km), Playa de la Roca (0.5 km), and Continente Shopping Center Portimao (1.5 km).
