Rooms at Rancho Sakol
Rancho Sakol features thirteen rooms and one Junior Suite. The rooms have Mexican-style décor. Each room includes a terrace with hammocks, a private bathroom with hot and cold water, a Casablanca-style fan, and air conditioning. Guests will find five-gallon jugs of purified water. Daily maid service and a self-service breakfast with sweet breads, fresh fruits, cereal, granola, yogurt, eggs, coffee, tea, and orange juice are included. The Junior Suite offers an oceanfront view, a king bed, high ceiling, a mini fridge, and a coffee maker. A fold-out futon is available. Partial Ocean View Rooms and Tropical Terrace Rooms are available. Some rooms include a stationary single bed. Upstairs rooms are for guests 13 years old and older.
Dining Options
Each morning a complimentary self-service breakfast buffet is available. The buffet includes sweet breads, fresh fruits, cereal, granola, yogurt, and eggs. Guests can prepare eggs as they wish. Coffee, tea, and orange juice are available. Guests can use the communal kitchen and refrigerator for other meals. A sand-floored meeting area under the main palapa can be used. A variety of places to eat are available from traditional Mexican seafood places with sand floors to Uruguayan grills. Saas Bar is located inside the beachfront terrace.
Leisure and Activities
The beaches of Puerto Morelos feature water activities, such as snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing, kayaking, and sailing. Guests can borrow bicycles and snorkeling gear. Guests have access to free wireless internet. A refresher course is offered to someone who is certified but has not dived in several years. A boat with its captain can be hired for fishing. Yoga and body work groups sometimes book the whole place for workshops, taking advantage of the large sand-floored meeting area under the main palapa. An indoor sand area with an adult-size swing is available.
Location and Access
Rancho Sakol is 30 km from Cancun. The other area is located behind the gasoline station on the highway. From Cancun International Airport, the car rental agencies are just as you come out of customs. Landmarks nearby include Faro Inclinado (1.5 km), welovepuertomorelostours (1.5 km), and Dr. Alfredo Barrera Marin Botanical Garden (2 km). Other parks like Tres Rios, Xel Ha,, XpuHa are available. The ruins, beaches, the reef for snorkeling and scuba diving, the cenotes, and caves are area attractions.

Rancho Sakol is a place to relax. A kind and friendly staff takes measures to ensure that your stay is comfortable. The hotel no longer has a computer available for guests to use. Guests arriving outside these hours should ring the bell for assistance on arrival. Items left on the beach in front of Rancho are safe. Rancho also offers Cool Tours, which is a 2-night trip to ruins, flamingos, and haciendas. If you have paid money for a period of time, it will be credited to you for another equal period of time in the off season.
