Rooms and Decor

Hotel-Pension Funk is located within the former home of the silent film star Asta Nielsen. The guesthouse occupies a turn-of-the-century tenement house in a quiet side-street of Kurfürstendamm. Individually decorated rooms feature comfortable seating areas and high ceilings. All rooms include antique armoires and armchairs, free standing mirrors, big beds with vintage sideboards and lamps. Bigger rooms have built-in modern bathrooms with faux-vintage exteriors and small showers and sinks. Front-facing rooms get the most natural light. Functional rooms feature a seating area and an en suite bathroom, or a seating area with shared bathroom facilities. Rooms include heating, and carpeted or parquet floors.

Dining at Funk

Guests can enjoy breakfast served in the dining room. Funk's buffet features hot and cold options with muesli and fresh fruit. The buffet also offers breads, jams, cheeses, salmon and hams.

Leisure and Entertainment

The Theatre of the West are cultural highlights. The guesthouse is in a prime location for exploring Berlin's shopping and nightlife. Guests can find cafes, boutiques and restaurants of Ku'damm around the corner. A visit to the zoo is a 10-minute walk.

Location and Transport

Hotel-Pension Funk is located near the Kurfürstendamm. The underground stations U-Bahnhof Kurfürstendamm and Uhlandstrasse as well as the Bahnhof Zoo railway station are only minutes away. Direct buses run from Uhlandstraße bus stop to Tegel Airport. The airport BER is directly connected by train (S-Bahn 9 or FEX from Berlin Hauptbahnhof). The hotel is near galleries and restaurants are easily accessible by normal transportation.
