inefficient air conditioning unresolved issue

breakfast was acceptable, with a selection of pastries and fruit.

my room overlooked an inner courtyard and it lacked sunlight. the air conditioning unit was not working efficiently, and the room temperature remained uncomfortably warm during the day. i requested assistance, but the issue was not resolved promptly.

Overrated stay. Some drawbacks

poor soundproofing stale pastries

The soundproofing was frankly awful. I could hear everything happening outside, as if the window was permanently open? it made getting a good night's sleep quite difficult. also, the breakfast was really basic. I expected more given the hotel's supposed reputation. the fruit seemed like it had been sitting out for a while, and the pastries tasted a bit stale.

i loved the quiet location just a short walk from the busy town center. my room was large and beautiful. the grounds were lovely. the restaurant was also excellent. i found the attention from all the staff to be excellent.

the superior double room included excellent decor with an inviting ambiance. the room's layout allowed easy movement and included a seating area and ample wardrobe space. fresh flowers added a personal touch.

breakfast featured superb coffee and an excellent array of fresh pastries, fruit, and local cheeses. lunch was also excellent with diverse options that showcased regional flavors. the breakfast area was bright and cute.

the terraced gardens at the rear provided fine views. the pool area offered a tranquil space to relax with comfortable loungers. i was also very close to a large, free car park, only five minutes away.
