Overlook Lodge at Bear Mountain offers guestrooms with premium bedding, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and minibars. Located in the Overlook Lodge, rooms include a microwave and coffee-making facilities; maximum occupancy is four persons. Stone Cottages provide an authentic, rustic mountain cabin feel, each with a cozy front porch, a common living area with a wood-burning fireplace, microwave, mini-refrigerator, and dry bar. Stone Cottage rooms also include coffee-making facilities. A limited number of pet-friendly guestrooms are available at the Overlook Lodge.
Dining Options
Guests can enjoy cuisine at Restaurant 1915 or drinks at Blue Roof Tapas Bar. The Hiker's Café, located inside the east entrance of the Bear Mountain Inn, offers grab 'n' go options. Stand 10, near the entrance to the picnic groves, serves burgers, kosher hot dogs, french fries, and ice cream. There will be waffles, roasted herb-marinated chicken, and 2-hour bottomless mimosas.
Leisure and Activities
The lodge includes a seasonal ice skating rink, a seasonal pool, a merry-go-round, and a Trailside Zoo. Fun activities are available for all ages, including a kids' play area with a bounce house. Guests can relax at the Spa at Bear Mountain. The unique event room features a classic indoor merry-go-round and dance floor, accommodating up to 100 guests for a seated dinner or 150 for a cocktail reception.

Located in the Hudson Valley, the lodge is 45 minutes from New York City and seven miles from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Nearby landmarks include Mine Dock Park (1 km), Trailside Museums & Zoo (0.5 km), and Bear Mountain Hike Trail (1 km). Stewart Airport is 35 km away. Daily service is available directly to the Bear Mountain Inn and Overlook Lodge via the Short Line schedule. The State Park only collects until 5 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
