Orkos Beach Hotel is in the quiet area of Mikri Vigla Beach, a destination for wind and kite surfers. The hotel is 10 km from Naxos Island National Airport. A roundtrip airport shuttle is available. The hotel is near mini markets, taverns and travel agencies. Mikri Vigla beach named "Sahara " Enature Mikri is known for its golden sand. The Flisvos Kite Centre is leeward protected by the sandy beach.

The staff, including Kiriaki, Anastasia, and Nikos, are available at reception to answer questions. Luciana and Michele run the Flisvos Kite Centre and give kitesurf courses. The Flisvos Kite Centre offers kitesurf courses or equipment rental to IKO standards. A terrace and a garden are available. An IKO-standard school is available for kite boarding lessons. All kinds of windsurfing equipment are available for rental. A small shop has beach wear, water wear, and Kite hard wear. Windsurfing center is located at the hotel.
