A Gem in the City
necessary amenities convenient tram shop location front tram
my room included necessary amenities. i had a comfortable bed, a functional sink, a decent shower, and a clean toilet. i liked that the location was a convenient tram ride, about fifteen minutes, to the city center. there was a shop across the street so i could buy some snacks. tram stop in front of the hotel was also really helpful.
The walls seemed very thin, and i could hear conversations. It was a bit disruptive at times.

acceptable stay
friendly receptionist easy room change cigarette smoke poor insulation
THE receptionist martyn was friendly. He was very cute when I arrived LATE from my flight. The lady at reception during the day was also helpful. She helped us get another room after I asked because our original room had a strong smell.
The room was smoke-free though it smelt of cigarette smoke. Cleaning staff tried to enter the room despite the Do not disturb sign. The room was VERY badly insulated, I could hear almost everything around.
