Each cabin features two double beds, a bathroom with shower only, alarm clock, hairdryer, a safe, and a fan. Rooms feature one, two, or three Queen beds, a sink, heat, a hairdryer, an alarm clock, and a fan. Some rooms include a mini-refrigerator with soft drinks and snacks, while others have communal bathrooms and showers, including roll-in showers, located elsewhere on the hall. Some deluxe rooms offer a partial view of the geyser basin.

Guests can select from multiple dining options. The Dining Room serves the guests of Old Faithful Inn. The Geyser Grill, located in the Old Faithful Snow Lodge, provides quick service with burgers, deli sandwiches, and salads. The Obsidian Dining Room at Old Faithful Snow Lodge serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner during the winter season. The Firehole Lounge offers a place to relax, with chairs by the fireplace. Nearby landmarks include Upper Geyser Basin (1.5 km), Geyser Hill (1 km), Biscuit Basin (3.5 km), Lower Geyser Basin (0.5 km), Aurum Geyser (1 km), Morning Glory Pool (2 km), Chinese Spring (1.5 km), and Castle Geyser (0.5 km). Over-snow transportation is required to-and-from Old Faithful Snow Lodge during the winter season. Yellowstone is 55 km away.
