The poolside restaurant provides a largely varied menu, offering three food menu items a day. Denis cooks food in the onsite restaurant. The restaurant features fresh seafood caught by the hotel's crew. Homemade food options are available. Start your day with Nicaraguan coffee and filling breakfasts. Grab banana bread or a granola bar for the beach.
Leisure and Activities
Nicawaves features an outdoor pool and a shared lounge. Guests can engage in activities, such as horse riding and fishing. A thatch-roofed cabana overlooks the pool, with a double hammock and swinging chair. Guests can meet at The Rancho, with its 5MB internet connection. Surfing video analysis is available with Mike and filmer Luis at Santana. Numerous beaches offer warm water reefs, hollow point, and beach breaks.
Location and Transport
Located in Popoyo on Nicaragua's Pacific coast, Nicawaves is 15 km from Aeropuerto Internacional Costa Esmeralda. From Las Salinas, take the bus and walk until you see the Nicawaves sign on your left. Airport transfers and surfing/fishing boat trips are available aboard a customized panga. Air-conditioned 4x4 trucks with roof racks safely transport gear. Nicawaves provides the best wind protection in the area.

The Nicawaves team has over a decade of experience hosting surfers. Mike guides surf tours based on local knowledge. The friendly team helps with anything you need. Maria assists in getting you settled. Aeromexico flies to Managua on a limited basis.
