Nature's Edge Boutique Hotel offers four casitas, each featuring a king-size bed, a private restroom, a small kitchenette, and a private balcony with a hammock. Most furnishings are hand-crafted using Costa Rica's Teak and Guanacaste hardwood, which are moisture and bug resistant. The upper ridge casitas, Palmas and Mariposa, offer views of jungle canopies and partial ocean views; on clear days, the Osa Peninsula and Corcovado National Park are visible. The lower ridge casitas, Aracari and Heliconia, have views of the jungle, mountains, cloud forests, and pastures, ideal for bird and wildlife watching. Each casita includes tea and coffee facilities, a sitting area, and a dining table. Kitchenettes feature a refrigerator, cookware, and a toaster.
Dining at Aracari Restaurant
Aracari Restaurant offers a menu of local and fresh items, combining local cuisine with fusion touches. The menu includes vegan, vegetarian, hearty pastas, sandwiches, steak, and seafood dishes. A home-cooked breakfast is available, and an early breakfast alternative for guests with a morning tour includes a smoothie and pastry served between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM. Guests have access to Terraza De Alma, an outdoor full kitchen. Several restaurants in Costa Ballena provide food delivery services.
Leisure and Nature
Terraza De Alma includes a saltwater pool, an outdoor living room, and lounge chairs. Guests can walk on nature trails through the jungle or to Playa Arco, and visit a waterfall with swimming holes. Nature trails at Hacienda Barú pass through primary forest, secondary forest, swamp forest, wetlands, pastures, and tree plantations. The surrounding ocean has coral reefs for snorkeling and diving. The hotel is near Playa Tortuga, offering beaches, scenery, and wildlife. The Uvita Beer Garden entrance has a butterfly garden.

Nature's Edge Boutique Hotel is located in Uvita, with access to local restaurants, grocery stores, and conveniences. It is near three national parks and over a dozen beaches. Whale's Tail National Park is minutes away. A 4x4 vehicle is required to reach the hotel. The hotel is 50 km from Aeropuerto de Palmar Sur. The Uvita Information Center is accessible by shared ride. Uvita is 25 minutes from Dominical and 30 minutes from Ojochal.
Hotel Services
Keith and Joe ensure guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay. The hotel can arrange trips to Nauyaca Falls, kayaking and paddleboarding along the mangroves in the Rio Baru, and Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary. The hotel assists with adventure activities and spa services. Guests checking in before 3 PM may relax by the pool. If the hosts do not meet the guests on the day of check-in, the guests will be checked in poolside during breakfast at 7:30 AM the next day.
