5-star jungle hotel at the gates of Calakmul Biosphere Reserve

Hotel Mundo Maya Calakmul sits 11 km from the Calakmul archaeological zone, inside the Calakmul Biosphere Reserve. Guests enter the reserve through two checkpoints and pay entry fees upon arrival; the hotel offers a shuttle to the ruins departing at 7:30 AM and returning at 12:30 PM. The property's position allows visitors to explore the temples with minimal crowds and return to the hotel by midday.
Rooms
Each air-conditioned room includes a flat-screen TV, a safety deposit box, and a private bathroom with a shower. Selected rooms add a kitchen equipped with a dishwasher and a minibar. All rooms offer a balcony, with some facing the jungle and others overlooking the parking or solar panels.
