convenient beachfront stay
efficient staff walk-in shower clean standards
i found the check-in process to be smooth and efficient. my request for a room with a walk-in shower was accommodated promptly. the staff efficiently provided one as early as 10:00. the room was very clean and i noticed the entire hotel reflected similar standards.
the elevator had some intermittent issues which caused minor delays.

the hotel features direct beach access. the hotel is near a grocery store and several dining options. accessing the beach from the pool area is very easy and convenient, there is no road crossing involved.

the front desk staff offered courteous assistance. the staff throughout the restaurants and bar looked cute. the front desk promptly arranged for luggage assistance. the hotel ensured i had a room change to meet my requests.

the kalypso beach restaurant and bar provides food and drinks. the breakfast buffet had a good selection. the dining area offers a nice setting for breakfast. i found the service to be very efficient and cute.

Mixed Feelings About My Stay. Some Issues.
mildew smell street noise
My stay had some serious drawbacks. The room reeked of mildew, it was a very persistent smell. I suspect there is dampness. The noise from the street was quite noticeable, I could hear traffic late into the night. It made getting a good night's sleep rather difficult.

unexplained fire alarm insufficient cleaning
The rooms was decorated in mid-century modern style. The room was a good size, so it was adequate.
The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. The staff did not share any information about what caused it. Cleaning was okay, but could have been better as I found some dust on surfaces.

i liked my superior room. the bathroom had good water pressure and a decent size. the location was excellent to many places near.
the room i stayed had small floors that appear dirty and it smelled strongly of pine cleaner. there wasnt any counterspace. the parking across the street seemed dangerous.
