Mercure Saint-Lary, Saint-Lary-Soulan

Mercure Saint-Lary is located in the thermal and ski resort of Saint-Lary-Soulan, directly across the river from the cable car. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the village center and provides close access to major ski lifts and the Pic Lumière Cable Car. In summer, guests can reach Pyrenees National Park and iconic Tour de France mountain passes from this base.

The hotel offers direct access to a wellness center with a hammam, sauna, steam room, and a small hot tub that accommodates 2-4 people. Guests receive bathrobes and slippers, and the spa facilities are open to guests aged 16 and over. The spa team repaired a low-temperature sauna within hours after a guest report.

The hotel's restaurant, La Mangeoire, serves traditional French cuisine and international buffets with a la carte options. Breakfast is a full buffet with a large selection including hot dishes and gluten-free choices. Dinners receive consistent praise for quality and variety, with some guests rating the food the best part of their stay.

Standard rooms offer a balcony with mountain or garden views, a sofa area, and a satellite TV. All rooms have large sliding glass doors for ventilation (no air conditioning) and a private bathroom with a shower. The hotel provides a locked basement for bicycle storage and a communal lounge with a fireplace, piano, and pool table.

The hotel has a kids' club, board games and puzzles, and offers bicycle rental and table tennis. Ski equipment hire, ski pass sales, and ski storage are available on site. In summer, guests can go hiking and mountain biking, and in winter access one of the largest ski resorts in the Pyrenees.
