the happy hour had complimentary drinks. i enjoyed the gym because it had excellent equipment. breakfast was definitely better than most places i have visited. i really appreciate the really good view from the 12th floor.

the location was acceptable. it was quite walkable to the places i wanted to visit (chinatown and nob hill).
i found the experience disappointing. firstly, the room decor seemed dated and could use some updating. the neighborhood felt depressing, with many vacancies and boarded up storefronts. this detracted from the overall impression of the area.

The room was not up to standard. I noticed the carpet was sticky. the bathroom was small, a considerable inconvenience. i also observed that the windows throughout the hotel were quite dirty.

The location was great. The happy hour was a nice perk (i definitely enjoyed it!).
I was disappointed with the noise level in my room. I could clearly hear conversations and other noises from the hallway. This made it difficult to relax and get a good night's sleep. The bathroom was also quite small, it felt cramped and outdated.

The complimentary laundry facilities were invaluable, especially after several days of travel. I used the bar fridge located in my room. This kept my drinks cold. The breakfast was excellent. The waiters offered fresh juice and coffee at the table. IT'S a great value.
The sound insulation could be improved, as I could hear some noise from adjacent rooms at night. I found THIS a bit disruptive.
