Onsite Dining
The Lener tavern features dining rooms dating back to the 15th century and serves tavern food. Breakfast is served from 7 AM, with regional produce. The breakfast buffet includes bread from Walcher bakery, brioche, cakes, fruit salad, muesli, butter, yogurt from Sterzing dairy, homemade jams, ham, sausages, and cheese. Coffee, tea, cocoa, orange juice, and apple juice are provided. Fresh eggs are available. For half-board, a 4-course menu is offered with starters, a salad buffet, entrées, main courses, and desserts. The restaurant is open from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, every day for hotel guests. The hotel bar and terrace serve drinks and snacks. Vegetarian, lactose-free, and gluten-free meals are available upon request.
Leisure and wellness
The hotel has an indoor swimming pool open from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM and from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. There is also a sauna (family sauna from 2 PM to 3 PM), open to children over 14 when attended by parents (swimwear allowed). The wellness area includes a Finnish sauna, a bio sauna, a steam bath, a pinewood quiet room, and a Kneipp-spa. Location and Transportation
Lener Wirtshaus & Hotel is located on the old Brenner road in Campo di Trens near Vipiteno. It is 75 km from Bolzano. To arrive by car: Take the motorway to Vipiteno, then the national road towards Bressanone. The hotel is on the right, 5 km after leaving the motorway. For bus travel, MeinFernbus goes daily to Sterzing-Vipiteno. By train, travel to Brenner or Fortezza, then take the regional railway or bus to Campo di Trens. Bus transfers to Vipiteno are available from Bergamo, Verona, Venice, Treviso, Innsbruck, and Munich airports. Landmarks near the hotel are: Rathaus - 5 km, Santa Croce Church - 3.5 km, Zwolferturm - 5 km, Castel Guelfo - 2.5 km, Zinseler - 4.5 km, Reifenstein Castle - 3 km, Rofis Boden - 5 km and Centro Storico - 5 km.
