Dining at Liebstöckl
The Restaurant Liebstöckl, led by Chef Michael, serves four to five-course menus featuring Zillertal cuisine. Steaks are a highlight, served on a 300° hot stone, and can be enjoyed on the sun terrace. Guests are treated to homemade bread from a local baker, fresh Alpine herb products (such as herbal curd, herb spreads, fresh chives, and fresh cress), and cheese and sausages from local establishments. The hotel uses local foods, supported by the 'Bewusst Tirol' initiative. Herb bacon develops its flavor, smoked using resin-free beech wood shavings. Meat from local farms is smoked to preserve it. Various herbs can be used to create alcohol-free aperitifs, enjoyed before the evening meal. Pair your meal with a glass of wine.
Leisure and Wellness
The hotel features a small well-being area with a Finnish sauna, bio sauna, and steam bath, offering oils and essences such as lavender, mountain pine, lemon balm, and peppermint. Guests can use a Tyrolean wooden basin with a thyme foot bath, along with 7 mountain herb gels, free of charge. For winter activities, there are snowshoe walks, sledging, and cross-country skiing. Over 50 km of cross-country trails are available in the valley and in Hochfügen. Numerous artificial ice rinks can be found in Strass, Fügen, Kaltenbach, and Stumm. Guests can visit the 'Erlebnistherme Zillertal' thermal spa in Fügen, the 'Erlebnis-Schwimmbäder' water parks in Stumm, Fügen, and Zell, and the bathing lakes in Aschau and Schlitters.

Kraeuterhotel Hochzillertal is 60 km from Kranebitten Airport. The valley station of the Hochzillertal ski resort is a 2-minute walk away, with free ski storage for guests.
