Kahuna offers a variety of accommodations, from garden rooms to bunkhouses. Garden Rooms have a queen-size bed and a patio. Ocean and Pool View rooms feature views of the infinity pool and the West Philippine Sea, a queen-size bed, minibar, safety deposit box, and tea/coffee facilities. Family Suites, located behind the Ocean View Suites, include 2 queen beds, a sofa, minibar, in-room tea/coffee, and a patio. The Ocean View Suites are in the center of the beach and have two queen-size beds, a minibar, in-room tea/coffee, a patio, a semi-private swimming pool, and beach access. The Rest House has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, including a master's bedroom with a king-size bed, a balcony overlooking a private lap pool, a kitchen, a dining room, a bar, and a living room. The Bunk House provides bunk beds, a mini kitchen, a bathroom, and a lounge, accommodating up to 15 guests.
Dining at Malana
Malana At Kahuna offers Asian and international dishes with beach views. Guests can choose from pizza, pasta, steak, and sushi-sashimi, along with signature meals, fresh fruit juices, cocktails, and chilled beer. The restaurant also serves local cuisine. The bar has a collection of international liquor.
Spa Luana relaxation
Spa Luana provides massage and body treatments. Options range from Hawaiian and Swedish massages to signature treatments like Ayuthaya, Island Body Bliss, and international massage treatments. The Spa Therapist administers massage and body treatments.
Events and Activities
Kahuna is available for birthdays, debuts, christenings, rehearsal dinners, and reunions. The multi-purpose function room seats 100 people and is equipped for corporate events. The beach serves as a team-building venue. Guests can surf through La Union Surf School, certified by ASI. Scuba diving is available through Dive Union. PADI courses are offered. Kahuna has a 9-hole golf course. Bike rentals and tours are available for exploring La Union. Tour packages are available for destinations from La Union and Tangadan Waterfalls to Vigan and Baguio.
Location and Services
Kahuna is in San Juan, La Union. To arrive by car, take the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), connect to the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), and then the Tarlac Pangasinan La Union Expressway (TPLEX). Guests can also take a bus to Vigan, Abra, Laoag, or La Union, and alight at Kahuna Beach Resort and Spa in San Juan. Kahuna provides great customer service, and safe and secure facilities. Training on internal programs, systems, reports, and procedures is provided. Excellent communication skills in English and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs are a plus for resort staff.
