“I found a charming historic spa resort with unique access to thermal geysers, set in the heart of wine country; a relaxing retreat that doesn't feel at all corporate, in my opinion. I appreciated the commitment to farm-fresh cuisine and sustainable practices that create memorable experiences, though spa booking seems to be a challenge based on what I read. It's a Calistoga escape designed for wellness and idyllic outdoor relaxation, if you don't mind the service drawbacks.”
