Hirschen features rooms and suites in two buildings: the historic inn (built in 1755) and the Wälderhaus. The historic inn offers 14 rooms and suites, including a Prestige Suite with ceiling painting from 1812, an iconic suite with a balcony, and a junior suite on two levels with a spacious bathroom. The Wälderhaus provides 12 suites with access to the spa. Some suites include two bedrooms, kitchens with coffee machines, bathtubs, showers, and separate toilets. Suites range from 40 to 80 m².
Dining at Hirschen
The Hirschen restaurant features dishes crafted using years of culinary research and regional products. Head chef Jonathan Burger combines the best products from the region. The hotel serves breakfast à la carte, with a rotating selection prepared daily. Guests can conclude mountain adventures by the fireside with creations from Pastry Chef Raphaela Wirrer.
Leisure and Wellness
The spa includes a sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin, and Kneipp spa. Guests have access to tennis courts located 300 m away at discounted prices. The hotel also features a library with international daily newspapers and magazines. Spa includes a bathrobe bar serving curated wines and drinks.
Location and Access
Located in the historically listed town center of Schwarzenberg in Vorarlberg, the hotel is near the Angelika Kauffmann Museum (1 km), Werkraum Bregenzerwald (3 km), and Hochälpele (3 km). The hotel is accessible by car via the A14 motorway to Dornbirn Nord or Dornbirn West. By train, guests can arrive via Innsbruck, Lindau, and St Gallen, with bus connections from Bregenz and Dornbirn train stations to Schwarzenberg Dorfplatz.
