The menu includes dishes such as crispy calamari rings. Breakfast is an organic buffet with breads, cold cuts, cheeses, and fruit served on patterned pottery. Almost all produce, including drinks behind the bar, are organic. A striking pattern created from recycled glass clads the bar. Location and Transportation
Axel Guldsmeden is in Vesterbro, 200 meters from Copenhagen Central and a few minutes' walk from Tivoli Gardens. Frederiksstaden, with the four mansions of Amalienborg and the Marble Church, is nearby. The Meatpacking District is also nearby. The hotel has moved its entrance to Colbjørnsensgade, bringing it closer to the central station and Tivoli. A train from Copenhagen Airport to Copenhagen Central Station takes about 13 minutes, followed by a 5-minute walk to Axel Guldsmeden. Metro M2 from Copenhagen Airport towards Vanløse, then switch to Metro M3 (Cityring) towards Copenhagen Central Station which takes approximately 20-25 minutes, followed by a 5-minute walk to the hotel.
