elevator noiseinconsistent water temperature

I asked for a quiet room. I got a room right next to the elevator, which I'm sure was someone's idea of a joke! The noise was constant, and I could hear every conversation. The shower was either scalding or freezing. There seemed to be no in-between. this made showering a real adventure, but not the kind I wanted on vacation.
