Rooms with Golf Views

Every guest room in the tower has a large balcony. The rooms feature views of the golf course, sports fields, and mountain vistas. Each room includes ironing facilities, air conditioning, a sitting area, free toiletries, a television, a CD player, and carpeted floors. A spacious work area, cable TV, and coffee and tea-making facilities are provided.

Varied Dining Options

The resort provides a variety of dining and entertainment options. Guests can sip cocktails at Duke's Lounge, named after John Wayne. The main dining room, Legends Restaurant, features southwestern cuisine and an extensive wine selection. Guests can dine indoors or outdoors on the patios for Legends or Dukes. Room service is available, with a full menu of breakfast, lunch, and dinner items, as well as wine, cocktails and late-night snacks.

Sports and Recreation

The property includes a baseball bat-shaped swimming pool and a Jacuzzi. Guests can play bocce ball, horseshoes, and volleyball. Francisco Grande features a mature, newly renovated 18-hole golf course and serves as a sports resort. It has 8 professional grade sports fields and a 58,000 square foot Performance Center with four locker rooms, therapy pools, and state-of-the-art strength and conditioning equipment.

Location near Phoenix Airport

Francisco Grande Hotel & Golf Resort is 80 km from Phoenix-Mesa Gateway and a 45-minute drive south of Phoenix International Airport. The hotel is on the campus of Grande Sports World. It is located between Phoenix and Tucson.

The Francisco Grande Hotel and Golf Resort provides nearly 10,000 square feet of flexible meeting space. Meeting rooms are equipped with audio-visual capabilities and high-speed Internet access. The Grand Ballroom has more than 4,000 square feet of space and can accommodate up to 400 people. A meeting room, the 'Eagle's Nest,' is located on the ninth floor of the Tower. The Francisco Grande Hotel and Golf Resort is a location for conferences, conventions, corporate events, golf tournaments and weddings.

“I found the property to be a compelling blend of history and recreation, largely due to its Giants baseball connection and respected golf course. The rooms facing the course offer truly serene views, though I noted that some past guests have had issues with the AC that should be addressed to ensure continued enjoyment. It's an interesting spot for sports teams and events, given its proximity to the Grande Sports World.”
