Hotel Europa, set in the historic centre of Ischia Ponte, has 34 rooms. Rooms are decorated in warm pastel shades, with Mediterranean tiled floors and traditional style furnishings. Options include single, double (for single use), triple, and two four-bedded rooms. All rooms come with satellite TV, a fan or air conditioning, and a private bathroom, free WiFi, alarm call service and writing desk. Nearly all rooms have a balcony. Comfort rooms add air conditioning, a minibar, and a small terrace with a deck chair. Room amenities include free toiletries, a shower, a bidet, a hairdryer, a wardrobe, and heating. Rooms are divided into 'Comfort', 'Standard' and 'Economy' accomodation.
Dining at Europa
The restaurant serves Neapolitan and classic Italian cuisine for dinner. The restaurant serves the most typical of Campanian cuisine, accompanied by prized local Forastera and Biancolella wines and an atmosphere of authentic conviviality. Guests start their day with a rich breakfast, including freshly-baked bread, homemade cakes, marmalade and jams, real coffee and genuine Neapolitan cappuccino. The large common areas, indoor and outdoor, of ancient construction, and the dining area with large windows allows for delightful natural ventilation. Onsite restaurants includes a restaurant. In the early 1950s, their grandfather Antonio opened a restaurant here - the ''Ristorante l'Aranceto" - and by 1956 the popularity of the location so close to the historic borgo of Ischia Ponte and the fortunate discovery of an underground thermal spring had persuaded him and his sons Tonino and Gaetano to add their first few rooms, creating the Hotel Europa.
Leisure and Wellness
Guests can relax with a book from the multilingual library. The thermal-spa area features a heated pool, a grotto, and sun loungers and deckchairs. Guests can try the world-renowned thermal waters, famous for their beneficial properties. Here at the Hotel Europa, you can choose between relaxing in our spa grotto and a swim in the thermal pool. The water flows from spring at a comfortable 34°C.
Location and Transport
Located in Ischia Porto, Hotel Europa is near food, scenery and fine dining. Landmarks nearby include Castello Aragonese (1 km), Valentino Club (0.5 km), Museo del Mare (0.5 km), Inglesi Beach (2 km), Cathedral of the Assunta (0.5 km), Torre di Guevara (0.5 km), Chiesa di Santa Maria di Costantinopoli (0.5 km), Sorgente Olmitello (0.5 km). Guests can also walk around, between beaches, shops, lots of takeaways and romantic evening walks towards the Aragonese Castle, without ever having to take public transport. Those with a passion for the extraordinary plants and flowers of the Mediterranean will enjoy the tropical gardens at 'La Mortella', near Forio. The beauty of this place, created for the composer Sir William Walton and renowned throughout Europe can best be appreciated by combining a visit with one of the many concerts of their classical music season. Those reaching the summit can visit the hermitage and the small church dedicated to San Nicola of Bari, both carved out of the green tuff stone. Guests get off at the stop near the Hotel Europa. The car or scooter can be delivered to you at the hotel. From Ischia Porto, take bus number 7 or C12 from the bus station - departures approx every 15 minutes - and get off at the stop near the Hotel Europa (just before the old town of Ischia Ponte). Alternatively you will find taxis and microtaxis awaiting you on arrival.
