4-star eco-friendly hermitage in Umbria

Amenities

Eremito offers an authentic experience in a restored contemporary monastery, utilizing eco-friendly systems throughout the structure. The hotel emphasizes sustainability with energy self-sufficiency, powered by solar energy and utilizing low water consumption systems. Guests can enjoy a Relax Area carved from rock, featuring a steam bath and whirlpool tub, ensuring an opportunity to unwind in a tranquil setting.

Rooms

Accommodations at Eremito include rooms with wrought iron beds, crafted from hemp yarn for comfort. Each room is equipped with essential comforts, while multimedia devices are intentionally absent, promoting a distraction-free environment. A stone desk by the window allows guests to write or reflect while overlooking the serene Umbrian valleys.

Location

Eremito is situated in the lush hills of Umbria, a short distance from historical hermitages from the fourteenth century. Access involves a scenic drive, with a 4x4 transfer available for the final 700 meters from the parking area. This secluded environment enhances the opportunity for solitude and self-reflection.

Dining

Dining at Eremito showcases a vegetarian menu, crafted from organic products grown on-site and sourced from local producers. Meals are served in the Refectory during colder months, accented by a large stone fireplace to create a warm dining atmosphere. In warmer months, outdoor dining is available, providing views of the woods and surrounding landscapes.

Wellness

The Relax Area is designed for holistic wellness, allowing guests to de-stress within a naturally formed space. Herbal teas and the signature 'Melemito' drink are available, adding to the relaxation experience. Gregorian chants provide a calming backdrop to enhance the feeling of tranquility.
